Some of the fruit of the classical approach is seen in the success of our speech and debate team in 2007-2008. - ACS team took 1st place in class 1A with 32 teams competing
- 14 ACS students qualified to compete at the state level in 10 different events
- ACS students were finalists in 7 of the 10 events
- State Champion Cross Examination team
- State Champion in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking
- Took 2nd place in 3 events
- Placed 3rd in 3 events
Encouraging results from recent standardized testing also reflect well on the school's ability to equip students.
